During the time I have been writing about Ares Management Corporation and Savers Value Village, the company that ARES bought out with around a 88% share ownership has been seeming to have an odd relationship to me. When I first started analyzing these stocks, I was suspicious that ARES might be shorting SVV, and it seemed to be the case that SVV was following an overall, similar trend pattern with ARES, but today I do not think tĥey are behaving as I have seen them before. I'm very curious as to what is going on here, and it looks to me as if ARES has changed some of their strategy, perhaps to avoid investors riding their coattails, that is, if they are indeed shorting SVV. Regarding news sentiment, I don't feel the news is caught up with current events, especially recent customer complaints and comments showing dislike towards Savers Value Village, as well as towards Ares Management Corporation for being the ones that took over. I believe that analyzing long-term technicals will provide an inaccurate picture to the reality of where this stock is heading, and in my opinion, the direction is not favorable for most investors, for Savers, or for Ares.
