Im currently invested in UMC which is a company located in Taiwan. When I looked on google fiance for the quaterly earning calls I noticed that the EPS(TWD) expected was 1.82, and reported was .29 for the last quarter.
However, when I looked at the report UMC offically gave out last quater. I noticed they reported an EPS of 1.74 TWD, and that the EPS in USD was .29
So is Google not converting the currency for the quaterly earning calls? Since at a first glance it is a surpise of -82%. But if its the wrong conversion that would be significantly lower.
It would make sense if the conversion was wrong since they have a Revenue increase of 4%.
