Etrade has a note about amzn that says ” Amazon will have a stock split that is effective Monday, June 6, 2022. Some open orders placed prior to the split may be canceled. If your order is canceled, you can place the order again, noting the new share price. Please note, new closing (sell) orders may be placed starting Sunday, June 5, 2022, after split processing is completed. ” Does that mean no selling shares until after the split? I was going to try to day trade it tomorrow but thats a long time to hold a position in this market.
