AppHarvest stock overhyped or genuinely growing?

This stock seemed to be in utter doom last year and I was honestly expecting it to face delisting. I had jumped in on the stock when it had dropped to $3. I then sold about half my stock when it began to fall from $5. I thought about DCA when it hit 40¢ but passed because I genuinely believed it was taking a turn for the worst. The companies year end remarks, loans, and odd distributor partnership made me think they were facing depositing, bankruptcy, and buyout.

Now it has taken off and is nearing $2. I'm perplexed if I should jump now, try to break even, DCA, or just hold. I'm not seeking personal advice on my remaining positions, I do not have too much in the hole. I initially came in with $400 sometime around the beginning of 2022. I'm not the most knowledgeable on stocks and just want to see more knowledgeable people's thought processes when looking at volatile stocks like this. I'm unsure how to word this, but I'm essentially seeking advice on how to evaluate something like this. Are there things I should've spotted sooner? I want to utilize this as a learning experience.
