From what I've gathered Start Engine is like a Kickstarter for startups. You buy a small share of the startup and if they go public, you have the opportunity to make a return on your investment. There also appears to be a secondary market where you can sell shares of a company even if they haven't gone public.
Has anyone tried investing on Start Engine? What is your opinion of the platform?
