AMD or Intel—which is better as a long term investment?

I’m planning on putting away some money into one of these companies, they are both similar and I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about each. Just want to know some of your thoughts or concerns.

I don’t see how either could be a bad move but I’m only putting my money on one of them
