I have stock that I was given as grants from three previous employers, all very large companies. I need to sell all of these shares this quarter and am looking for advice on strategies for how to do this.
I could just dump them all on one day and then try really hard not to look at the stock prices throughout the rest of the quarter so I don’t get seller’s remorse or sell 1/10th each week for the quarter and try not to look at the price charts and over think how much more I may have gotten by selling earlier, or waiting.
Any strategies/psychological suggestions?
I’m in the US, if that matters.
