2020 Meme stocks got my portfolio from $7k to $15k. From there I got greedy, playing with more meme stocks and options. I also bought some stocks are their peaks which you can see in the screenshots. Now, I’ve probably put a total of $16k in, which has dissipated into about $5k. Pain.
Now I’m past the memes and options and would just like to build a solid long term portfolio.
Currently these are my holdings:
3 AMD
2 AMZN
12 ASO (+13%)
3 GOOG
34 HIMX (-42%)
5 ICLN
9 INTC (-35%)
3 META (-53%)
2 MSFT (-13%)
27 MTTR (-50%)
4 MU (-35%)
4 PYPL (-58%)
10 RIOT (-80%)
55 SOFI (-65%)
5 TSM (-30%)
8 ZIM (-24%)
Where I didn’t list a P/L, I’m right around broken even.
Currently I’m thinking about offloading ZIM & HIMX. I’m also looking to add to my positions in AMD, GOOG, AMZN, and ICLN. Also want to start a NVDA position… maybe BABA and JNJ too.
Stocks I’m thinking about buying into for stability/dividends:
SCHD
O
BST
PG
MPLX
Would love some input on my current game plan. Am I right for wanting to sell HIMX and ZIM? Anything else that should go? Do some of the names I listed seem like good buys?
I look forward to everyone’s input 🙂
