Hi guys, a portfolio was made for me when I was younger, but has not actually been managed in years. Im just now in a position where I am able to learn about this and manage it, but I don't want to rush into anything here. When I got it, it looked like this-
AAPL 40%. JNJ 20%. CSX 10%. MDLZ 10% Cash 20%
Im looking to update this to be the best it can be with the current market, and use some of the cash to get into maybe VTI and GOOG/AMZN/COST maybe? To start all of this, what are the best resources as far as books/YT channels etc to really dive deep into this? How long should I wait before I actually start moving any of this around? are any of those options Im currently looking at bad to jump into immediately? It's a good chunk of cash that's just been sitting there not contributing to anything for years. I'd like to learn as much as possible before doing anything, but I really don't know how to tell if I'm reading/watching good learning information, or if there's a better resource. Thanks!
