i've been coming to the sub only for 2 yrs now. i've learnt a lot but sometimes it's muddled by noise by arm chair experts that show up outta the woodwork. given the market conditions there's a whole lot of them just ranting away on what and what we shouldn't do without any insight on the market except their emotion or sometimes biased “opinion”.
example 1, some guy crying about rockets and lost profit: if this guy was really upset he wouldn't be here making this post to begin with, not to mention with a bunch of emojis and what not. they even go on to say in the comment section that they're presumably risk-free because they invested in etfs. good, then wtf did you make the post for? because they're okay with the loss and have the time to make a post on reddit about it. anyone who has a lost a lot of money would have little time for reddit, your first thought would be on how to get your money back.
example 2. this guy takes the cake. has 460k to splurge and wants to tell us dont trade blah blah. all wise words but if you have 460k to throw away and be okay you have no business telling small time investors which i assume are the majority in this sub on how to invest. get fucking real.
example 3, a recent one. thankfully this garbage has been downvoted so nothing needs to be said.
example 4, another therapy session. fucking garbage. this coming from the guy who is a night auditor at a front desk lol
i think you can see where im going with this. the daily r/stock discussions thread is about the most accurate and most unbiased thread because it's transparent and people will call you out if you spout bullshit. if you doubt some of these arm chair experts have to say, head for the daily stock discussion thread and ask them, meantime downvote the garbage noise that pollutes this sub. goodluck investing or day trading or whatever it is you do.
