I follow the used music gear market pretty close and I've noticed similar price increases and patterns compared to the stock market. Vintage music gear selling 3 or 4 times what it would have sold for 3 years ago…..broken gear selling at double the price of the same working units of yesteryear….a complete frenzy if you ask me… Lately though I've noticed rare items that usually result in an instant sale sitting on the front pages of ebay/reverb and other gear sale sites.
Has anyone else noticed interesting trends in other markets pertaining to their hobby's or other industries.
*Also on a side note after chatting with a friend earlier today it turns out in the last week we both sold all of our stocks…we both normally don't get spooked..I was down 50% during the peak of covid and I wasn't bothered…something isn't right here
