Sell in May and go away?

Okay, so things aren't looking good overall. Nobody can predict the market, but there's a definite downtrend since November.

Is there any reason to NOT sell most things now and wait until the storm clears over the coming months?

Agreed, the old adage is shite, but there's nothing positive out there. Even DCAing in seems risky.
