Why is it easier to predict the movement of costlier stocks rather than inexpensive stocks?

Noticed this that a lot of times a lot of cheapish stocks $5-$30, sometimes they are up on a overall market down day for no good reason and its a horrible company. whereas more expesnive stocks are more predictble. ive been trading for a couple of months so ive noticed this pattern a lot
