Is there a way to see how board members voted for/against certain issues?

In terms of publicly traded companies. I am interested in the individuals on the board and the board as a whole. Is there anywhere I could request this info if it is not available somewhere? If not, how do shareholders hold board members accountable? I am trying to understand how this all works (not looking for a specific company). Thank you very much for any help!
