Little background—I’m a guitar teacher, love my job, but my studio is about at its max size and, well, I can only really do business between the time school gets out and dinner time, so I’m looking for a way to more actively manage my portfolio during the day for some wealth growth. Don’t have any kids of my own so the dream is one day I can set up a trust to help fund the music community in my city.
Anyway, I have some ETFs, tried the penny thing, but selling covered calls/CS puts is seeming more and more attractive. I’d be happy with a monthly 5% gain. Issue is, I’m not a lawyer out here lol so I need stocks that are cheap to get into/have the cash necessary to secure said puts. Obviously I’d like ones that I wouldn’t mind getting assigned on.
So far I really like GoPro, good IV but pretty steady in the $8-9 range, so… any recommendations that are like that? Probably $4-9 stocks with weekly options that have traded sideways since after the pandemic dip
