With the Fed meeting approaching and the VIX index currently trading around 33 what do you think will happen with the market following this meeting.
Since the end of 2021, the FOMC meetings have been followed by huge rallies in the S&P 500 ETF, while sharp market drops have followed the FOMC Minutes.
I predict this will happen again this year, but with a much sharper decline following the FOMC minutes due to the majority of the public having a bearish view of the market.
I have about 10k to invest, and want to hear some of your recommendations of what to buy. I am looking mostly at tech stocks and ETFs right now. Would you guys hold out to see how the market performs in the next couple weeks/months or buy right now?
