Bearish sentiment has surged to the highest point since post-financial crisis according to the AAII investor sentiment survey.
Bearish sentiment jumped to 59.4% for the week ended April 27, up from 43.9% the week before. That's the highest level since March 2009, at 70%.
March of 2009. Literally the bottom of the financial crisis.
You might say that we still have 10.6% before we’re at 70%, but this is not a similar situation at all to the financial crisis.
In my opinion, this month or next month is the bottom, unless there’s a nuclear explosion.
