I am wondering if others have used this strategy and how it has worked for them. Have any of you tried cost averaging your stocks down when the price lowers so that you can sell them at or near the cost average without losing too much money? (I am sure I am not the first one to think of this) If so, how has that worked for you in the past. I'm not looking to sell everything but I have a few dogs that have done miserably the whole time that I might want to unload and use that money elsewhere. Thoughts? Thanks for any help anyone can give.
