What happened to the “yay, less uncertainty; let’s rally 5%” rally?

For most of the recent past, the market has freaking levitated on “big bad news.”

Now, nothing is materially different from anything anyone knew.

I am struggling to make sense of a huge bull run last couple weeks and a sensational Monday… all those folks buying on Monday (especially in NDX securities)… like, why?

Why run up securities to have them retract?

Anyway, given that there was not a sensational rally today, when might it happen (sincere question).

Best market days ever took place I think the day after Black Tuesday, 1929, after the bottom in March 2020, in Fall 2008 after Lehman went down.

At a minimum, why did a statement whose contents have been repeatedly communicated and known for several weeks, what is the issue?
