Shouldn’t we assume the fed had access to the jobs data before the fed decision?

The jobs data came out one day after the fed meeting. So one of two possibilities:

1) The fed saw it and still held rates steady

2) The fed didn’t see it and made a decision without all the most recent information.

Would the fed really not be able to get a preview of the jobs report when it comes out within a day of a fed meeting?

Maybe they don’t. I don’t know, but it would seem strange that they wouldn’t have the ability to get some kind of preview.
