This may come across as a dumb question to many but I am genuinely curious why would brokerage companies fall just as hard as other companies? Wouldn't buying or selling high volume result in more revenue in their bottom line, how exactly would their revenue be affected during recession? At the end of the day people are still going to buy and sell
