It wasn't very long after subscribing to a single newsletter (which bundled newsletters) and later re-entering trading actively that I encountered a flurry of very persuasive arguments for nuclear energy in general constituting an energy revolution.
In the past few days I've traded like I never traded before (true) to get in on it with all the hype building in my head. During that time I noticed nuclear energy already seems to have started that year on year after year on year climb after bottoming out years back already. I went further back on a number of stocks and found many of them were already approaching historical peaks optimal to sell at for well timed investments rather than troughs optimal to buy at for well timed investors.
Different particular nuclear energy and/or uranium stocks appear to be exceptional here, which I think can be typified in more ways than one.
It feels a lot less like getting the chance of several lifetimes and more like I don’t even have a firm grasp on the basics and I’ve already gotten roped into a hype train that, although probably more reasonable than holding for meme stocks, very well might have good reason to not believe in them. Especially when they’re already so high up.
Another thing I've noticed is that the behavior of particular nuclear stocks appear to move in 'clusters', clusters which have since come to counteract one another in the recent spikes for some concurrent with dramatic falls and even collapses for others. And then there's the ones that hardly moved in their trajectory whatsoever. The latter I've only seen either improving ever so slightly but consistently or stagnating entirely.
I'm assuming this is strongly correlated with very real differences in the best forecasts for each cluster? If not that, my only hypothesis is a whole lot of overselling devaluing very promising stocks and maneuvering around to similar nuclear stocks perceived as even more promising (and maybe some panic selling), potentially to the point where some stocks are selling at a discount now or highly undervalued.
I think I coukd use some sense being slapped into me.
