What do you think of the phrase, “Take the L and sleep well.”?

I was thinking about exits and came across this small rhyme which described how one person traded when things didn't go their way. I know it's another version of cut your losers and let your winners run but the way it's said is both catchier and does include a psychological component that may be more impactful than the cold logic that doesn't appeal as well to humans in general. But what I really want to know is if you find it to be true; do you tend to, if you take losses quickly, feel relieved you did or do you not?

I've had mixed results myself but would say, on average, I've been better off taking the quick(er) L's.
