For the 14th year in a row, the S&P 500 did better than the majority of actively managed U.S. large-cap stock funds


If the S&P regularly outperforms most fund managers (link), would it be wise for someone (like me) without much investing experience and doesn’t want to pay active fund fees to dump my entire retirement account into VOO and not touch it? I’m not opposed to paying someone who could beat the S&P, but how do you find these guys? Are there any downsides to my current strategy of 100% VOO?
