Lately I been hearing about Open RAN. Open RAN is an ongoing shift in mobile network architectures that enables service providers the use of non-proprietary subcomponents from a variety of vendors. Thus, no vendor will end to end dominance; it essentially eliminates single service providers of infrastructure hardware and software.
Does anyone have any thoughts who willl are effected or benefit from the most from this coming change in the telecom equipment market?
