First CRISPR approved drug by FDA


CRISPR sickle cell therapy was recently approved by the FDA and is a first of its kind to receive approval. The drug is estimated to cost 1.5-2.5M per patient. The stock shot up 8% prior to the approval today and after the tagline dropped 7%. What am i missing? This seems to be revolutionary and could change care delivery for some of the costliest diseases. What are your thoughts on gene editing?
