I have a short stock, which I'd like to buy to cover, but I'd only want that to happen at a certain minimum price.
Let's say the stock is worth $20.00, and I'd like the option to “buy to cover it” at $18.50, how would I go about doing that? I've searched online but from my understanding (which is most likely wrong) the limit, stop limit and trailing stop options would only work for if I'd want to limit my losses, by inputing a threshold of let's say $21.00.
How would I go about doing this? Is it possible?
