Should I trade or wait?

I get stocks from my place of employment, Starbucks, and im debating on if I should trade my stocks or wait to see if it goes up. It’s currently down. I do need the money but im willing to wait a week if it may go up. I don’t know much about stocks so if anyone could provide insight, I’d greatly appreciate it!
