I gave up day trading after 12 years and went long

I inherited 1.5 mill and lost slightly over the last 6 months. Lost a few thousand.

I’ve been a losing day trader for 12 years. Lost about 50k.

I’ve reached a point where enough is enough and I just can’t beat the market.

I invested 500k in to 10 tech stocks I think will do well over the next 20 years.

I invested the other 500k in to SPY DIA QQQ as sort of a fallback/fail safe.

The other 500k is all mine.

What also got me thinking long term is, I have 4 kids under 3 (x2 sets of twins) I want all their schooling paid in 20 years.
