Hi guys. 25m here, with very little experience in buying/trading stocks and wanted to get some advice from y'all.
I live in the EU. One day at work I received a call from a UK survey asking general questions about my job position and what I invest in (which has only been crypto up until now). I indulged the nice lady and that was that… Or so I thought…
A month later I got a call from a broker called Ability corporate advisory. Who are based out of Hong Kong and I believe have some sort of set up in Singapore. They got my details from the survey people of course, and so began the back and forth between me and this guy.
The proposal is a 5000euro purchase amount of stock what he called institutional prices? (as in less than what the banks would give them to you for, if I am using the term right), and they take 1% in and out of the transaction with an estimated 90day turn around with projected profits of 47%.
I guess what I am really wondering is whether this broker is legit, as in whether anybody has heard of them? They have a well laid out website and a company registration in Hong Kong, but there is pretty much nothing else about them online.
If you haven't heard of them is there any easy way to tell if I am being scammed? Or even what they would have to provide me with on stock purchase?
Sorry I my message seems like it jumps around a bit. Its late here atm and I needed to get this off my mind.
Thanks in advance guys.
