TL;DR at the bottom.
I just have to tell someone who will understand my joy! One of the companies i'm invested in (Hunter Group, HUNT, 500 shares), was down so much. Like, 50-60% down, and hadn't had any news since August.
Now, i had bought 20k shares a while back, and they did a 5-1 (i think it's called) split, so i had 4k after that, at around 2,3NOK pr share. Sold half, for a small loss, as it kept falling, but kept the remaining 2k in hopes of it going back up, or dividends at the very least.
Well, time kept going, and the price kept falling. I sold another 2k. This time for a pretty large loss, relatively speaking. Then another 1k, which i bought back for cheaper to get my average price down a bit. It was really a sunk cost fallacy stock for me at this time.
Which brings us till today. Opening my app to see if there are any news. My eyes see the “Stocks” tab. That number was not that big yesterday?!
Turns out, there had been news! Good news!
The stock had gone up by ~160% !!
So, yeah. I got my money back selling 1500, and still have a good position in case the news actually happen!

TL;DR: checked my sunk cost fallacy stock for news, and it had some which had made it go up by ~160%!
