Good evening everyone! As many of you know, there was a famous “short squeeze” of $GME stocks back in January 2021. Back then, I was also one of those who have bought the stock in the company, but was too greedy to exit the position on time – sold the stock at loss.
In the meantime, I was focused on other things in my life (studies and private life), and totally did not bother thinking about stock market in general.
Now, few years later, I decided to take a look at the price and saw that it has dropped significantly.
Personally, I do not believe that “another short sqeeze is likely to happen”, but now that the everything seems to be calmed down, I would love to know more about the fundamentials and the underlying value of the business.
I do remember there were several analysis back then about how “fundamental value” of the stock should be about $55 (pre split, so $13.75 now), but as far as I know, the company is doing much better now than it did back then. Current price is $13.28/share.
Again, I do not know much about the current business performance, but I saw thay Ryan Cohen took the CEO position, and afaik there was no insider selling (correct me if this is wrong).
What are your thoughts on the stock? Would it make sense to consider long term buy? Do you think there is potential to grow in the following years?
