Niche question. Thrift Savings Plan G fund guaranteed in the long term.

The Federal Government 401K for the military, also known as the Thrift Savings Plan has a fund in it known as the G fund. It invests in government securities, and is guaranteed by the government. With U.S. debt sky high, and only set to get higher, a long with the cost of servicing that debt, all of which is done by issuing MORE government securities, at what point or can it become unsustainable?
