Hey, I am new to the stock market investing/trading and wanted to know if I buy a stock right now of let's say Amazon from Nasdaq am I supporting Amazon in anyway (like am I buying it to them, am I giving them money) or am I buy just buying the stock from another trader in which case I am not supporting Amazon (I think?). I just want to know if I can allow mysrlf to invest in the stocks of companies i don't really like but without helping or just search for ones that I can invest without worrying about their practices.
