My uncle purchased stocks for me when I was born. I am now 27 and being crushed by Sallie Mae. I would like to sell the stocks & get the money. It’s worth about $5000 now, I believe.
My question: how do I do this? I need step by step instructions on how to sell stocks that are already in my name, but not linked to a brokerage or anything like that.
