Hello,
I have been investing in the markers for more than 4 years now, I always manage to get a 25-30% return on my investment portfolio every year by buying value stocks and selling them for good margins and then buying them again whenever the market falls.
However, I was looking and researching online on how much returns do the leading investment firms, such as BlackRock, Vanguard and all provide.
After researching on their own websites, I came across that BlackRock had the highest with about 10-14% annually on average and Vanguard had similar returns around 10-12%
If you look at all the companies that hold majority of these investments from these institutions, like Apple, Google, they all have returned more than 30-40% annually since the past 5 years and although I understand that these funds have their big portfolios divided worldwide to mitigate risks, why is in this time of the world where we have leading technologies, we consider 10-14% the “benchmark” or as the best one can get?
Just curious to know about what you all think and if any one of you has either worked in these industries or companies or is a customer of these firms thinks about this.
Cheers!
