Hello,
I'm looking to invest for a longer term of about 20 years for my child. Im familiar with the markets but wanted someone elses opinion on this. I would be contributing monthly to the small initial investment. What would be a more logical thing to do, lets say invest in some individual stocks like Apple, Microsoft or just do it with an ETF like VOO or VOOG. Im leaning towards individual stocks because of a bigger potential return after the 20 years and since these growth stocks make up the top of all the holdings within these ETFs I would miss out on the larger percentage return from them If I would go with a VOO.
Whats the better way?
