I was going to ask this on r/tdameritrade but the sub doesn’t seem to be active anymore since TD Ameritrade got bought out and TD Ameritrade accounts got moved to Schwab. This kind of leads into my question though. I used to TD Ameritrade for years and loved the platform. My account got transferred to Schwab during Labor Day weekend. Long story short I hate the platform. The mobile app doesn’t compare to the TD Ameritrade mobile app in the slightest. People just said give it time and you will get used to it. Well I have given it close to month and I can say after using it for that amount of time I actually hate it even more then I initially did.
I want to move brokerages but have no idea the process that goes about it and what platform to use. I am thinking either E-Trade or Fidelity. I am curious if anybody on here has moved from TD Ameritrade to one of these brokerage’s? How was the experience and how does it compare to TD Ameritrade? If so what was the process? I have been using TD Ameritrade for years and its just frustrating that they forced people on this inferior platform. Any advice or personal experiences will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
