The S&P 500 (GSPC) experienced a 1.5% drop, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) saw a nearly 400-point decline, equivalent to 1.2%. Similarly, the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite (IXIC) registered a 1.6% decrease. Despite a promising start to the week, these major stock indices appeared on course for a losing month.
