I have googled how to Calculate the NASDAQ Index of any large company, but i dont quite get it. I have been working with things like acid tests and such to analyse the value of a company, but now that Im jumping into value of company in stocks, im really stuck.
Ive read that one needs two values:
The share weight of all the stocks on exchange
Each securitys closing price
With those two values is enough to calculate the NASDAQ index of a large company? Im not sure how to obtain these two things. Thanks for any help!
