For a one-page investment pitch competition, the investment horizon must be 12 months. Should I even include an IRR along with my price target, or no? It's only one year of extra cash flows. Also, is it okay to use long-term reasons as part of my investment thesis? For example, things like efficient capital allocation and r&d investments for more of a competitive advantage down the line? Or are those too long term? These are really strong points regarding the pitch and I want to include them, but am not 100% sure if they are appropriate for a 12-mo investment horizon thesis.
