You all know the famous quote the stock is not the company and the company is not the stock. So my question is wouldnt dividend paying stocks solve that problem since you dont realize profit based on the stock price but rather the paid out profits from the company earnings.
Side tought: I really love tech and i like the efficiency of buybacks/reinvestment but im really pulling towards dividend stocks even at the age of 27. It just feels so much more reliable even though it offer smaller returns
