On August 18th 2023, Aditxt, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADTX) underwent a 1-40 reverse stock split. In the fine print of the press release, it was stated that:
As a result of the reverse stock split, every 40 shares of issued and outstanding common stock will be exchanged for 1 share of common stock, with any fractional shares being rounded up to the next higher whole share.
This meant that if you owned 1 share of ADTX, costing you $0.39, after the split you would own one new share worth 40x the cost ($0.39 x 40) = $15.6 – $0.39 = $15.21 of risk free profit.
How did I make $500 off of this you might ask. Well, as of right now I have 35 brokerage accounts open across many different brokerages and account types. That means for each of my accounts, I made that $15.21 of risk free profit. 35 x $15.21 = $532.35 Profit.
This kind of opportunity is not rare, and there is some decent side money to make just by buying and selling shares once or twice a week. Feel free to comment or dm if you have any questions. None of this post is financial advice.
