I’m up about 200% overall in NVDA and have decided it’s time to sell the profits.
I have some stocks from 2019-2020 that are up higher than my short-term purchases… do I sell specifically those stocks or is it better to just sell a share amount and let fidelity pick the stocks?
I know selling long-term stocks has a tax advantage but is there any potential detriment to selling my long-term stocks over my short-term ones?? It is a significant profit so I want to do it right, and I’m very overwhelmed and confused.
Any advice and information you can give is so greatly appreciated, thank you so much in advance.
