Do you write trade journal?

Do you write some note or trade journal? Things like:

1. Why(or why not) you invested in the company
2. What is the cost basis / target price

I am an app developer and thinking to make a mobile app for trade journal that provides more functionalities than just simple note apps, such as the stock performance since each journal.

Any thoughts and ideas will be apprciated.
