I finally chased the high too much and understand. Any advice?

I’ve been doing really well. 8k investment in fidelity and slowly grew it to 10,600 over about 4 months. Then I saw this GRRR thing popping off and went “I can double my money”. Lost 1,000$ in about 10m and panic sold. It reversed and started going up and I did it again and lost another 1,000$. That’s all 3 of my day trades done for the week and I am rethinking my strategy again. Anyone have similar stupid stories?
