Index fund and invidual stocks

Hello

Im new to stocks and my bank offers fonds like:
1.Usa
2.Europe
3.Global
4.Technology and more tons of options.

I have been thinking i collect some good amount of money for index funds/ fond then if i have regular gain % im gonna give a go few invidual stocks or what i believe in companys.

Also what webpages do you use for reading about stocks?
1. Yahoo finance
2. Wallstreet

Is there more options?
