Million dollar question.
Some talking heads believe the selling stopped, not that massive buying started. So, did retail prop up this week's rally? How would you interpret the charts?
If retail did this, you'd either have to wait for retail herd to sabotage one another and take profits, or for institutions to start shorting the shit out of everything again.
If institutions sat out during this rally, they will have to wait for the next big dip to buy in. Some were saying they won't be buying heavily until S&P drops to 4000.
On the other hand, some say institutions can't just sit on clients' cash forever. They have to deploy it, regardless of how overinflated stock valuations may be.
Does anyone know what institutions did this week?
