If I DRS a company's stock (in this instance, Chewy), but there is no transfer agent associated with said company, does anyone know what happens to my shares?
I had DRS'd a couple of companies all together in one transaction on Fidelity, and I thought I'd throw in Chewy into the mix as well. I didn't realize that a company doesn't have to have a transfer agent, nor did Fidelity tell me that there was nowhere to transfer the shares to. The shares of the other companies have shown up now, but there is still not anything specifically about Chewy. It's not in Fidelity either. Having a hard time finding an answer to exactly what happened to the shares or where they are.
