I'm looking for the most dependable brokerage. I don't want to worry about the possibility of my equity being “lost” somehow.
Do you feel like your money is secure?
Do you feel like the brokerage is stable and profitable as a company/earnings?
I'm currently a RobinHood user. It, to me, is the most convenient app to use. Last night there was a UI issue, but I'm not concerned of the “why”. It's the “what” that concerns me, which is my account went to $0 because of a UI issue. I looked up RobinHood's earnings and projected growth, which is in bad shape. They aren't supposed to become profitable for another 3 years, and may not by then. I simply don't want the worry of the brokerage I have my investments in, going bankrupt or having some sort of server error that wiped out everything.
Anyway, any advice and reasoning for your decision is appreciated.
